From Congreve Farm Bridge
Three sections of this small river offer good
fishing for those prepared to wander the banks offering baits at suitable swims.
A good head of chub occupy the deeper holes especially where there is
overhanging cover.
There were a number of fingerling Barbel and Brown Trout
stocked by the E.A. a few years ago to supplement the natural head of Roach and
Perch. There are also Pike which offer good sport to the anglers prepared
to seek them out.
